How does a typical engagement begin? An engagement begins with an on-site visit by a senior ACG representative, typically taking 1 to 5 business days. Prior to the visit, the ACG representative will become familiarized with your company's products, region and competition. During the initial visit the ACG representative will meet with company executives and senior members of the management team in both group and individual settings. In addition to these meetings, the ACG representative will tour your company's facilities and operations. During these these investigative processes the ACG representative will gather the information about your company that is required to generate an Initial Assessment Report. The Initial Assessment Report will be delivered in confidence to company executives for analysis and review approximately 10 business days after the initial on-site visit. Back to Top
How much will the initial assessment visit cost? The cost of the initial assessment will vary with the specific segment of the construction industry that applies to your company, the location of your company, and it's size. The services of ACG personnel will be billed at our standard daily or hourly rates. Current daily and hourly rates may be obtained by contacting the ACG office. In addition to the fees for services provided, there will be a billing for all "out of pocket" expenses incurred during the visit. The "out of pocket" expenses are dependant on on the location of your company, relative to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Back to Top
How are ACG services and expenses billed? The Anderson Consulting Group operates on a retainer basis. For short term engagements of less than 30 days, an advance retainer is required that is equivalent to 50% of projected services and 100% of projected "out of pocket" expenses. The remaining balance is due and payable on completion of the engagement and upon delivery of the final accounting for any incurred "out of pocket" expenses. Please note that should the scope of a short term engagement be significantly changed, an additional retainer may be required. In circumstances of a long term engagement, the billing and payment processes will be specified in the Engagement Agreement. Back to Top
When can an on-site visit be placed on the active schedule?Once the general scope of work for any on-site visit has been agreed upon, and the required retainer has been received at the offices of ACG, the appropriate ACG personnel will be assigned and scheduled. Until the retainer has been received at the ACG office, all scheduling is tentative. Priority is given to clients that have already paid their retainer. Back to Top
Can an engagement be undertaken without an on-site visit?Absolutely, ACG will provide any of our services and products without coming to your location. However, billings will still be based on our standard policies and rates. Back to Top
May I just select individual products and services?Yes, ACG is here to serve your needs. We will prepare a custom engagement proposal that complies with any request that you make. Custom engagements may be based on a single task, project or total company reorganization. To learn more about custom engagements, please contact the ACG office. Back to Top
What are the daily and hourly rates? The daily and hourly rates for ACG services will vary on the type of service provided and the specific ACG personnel providing the service. Generally, for most ACG personnel, the rates for services are based on the skill set and experience requirements to complete the assigned work, and not exclusively on the job description of the individual. For current rates, please contact the ACG office. Back to Top
